La MJC have collaborated with Lacoste on a limited-edition version of the classic Broadwick. These shoes are clean-cut cupsoles with a distinctly nautical flavour, incorporating blue and white pinstripe cotton uppers that reference sailing culture.
The leather on the tongue is inscribed with the Latin phrase ‘Fluctat nec Mergitur’, an old Parisian motto meaning ‘The boat rocks but never sinks’. Completing nautical the look is a boat emblem embroidered in red on the uppers.
95 pairs will be available, exclusively stocked at Colette on the 3rd July, and at Solemart on the 4th July 2011.
