To celebrate their 10th birthday, the globally renowned Parisian trend store Colette worked with the design teams of Lacoste to produce a limited collection of shoes and polo shirts showcasing the famous store’s canine friends Caperino & Peperone which were originally created by Kuntzel and Deygas.
Only 250 pairs of these bad boys were ever made. The very first collaboration by Sneaker Freaker magazine, on the ‘leftfield’ Missouri 85, came about after Woody spotted the general release version of this style earlier on in the year.
To celebrate the innovation and heritage of René Lacoste a special collection of the original Lacoste tennis shoe was released. The shoe was remade to the original specifications with a herringbone material upper and a simple rubber vulcanised construction.
