'Lacoste - 24 Teeth'

Following the success of the Solebox Tennis 91 the design team have worked with Hikmet and the Solebox team on a follow up project.

The 10789 is named after the zip code that the Solebox store occupies in Berlin. This style is new to the Lacsote footwear collection, it was originally intended to be part of the AW2009 range however due to the complex nature of the design the development process was longer than expected. This style was one of many shown to Hikmet and the combination of sneaker meets hiking boot with a neoprene inner sock was one that the Solebox team loved.

The development continued following a brief from Solebox with fresh new colours and materials. As the Solebox team wanted to keep the shoes as a really limited edition only 30 handmade pairs of each colourway are being produced.

The collection will be released in February 2010 and will be sold exclusively through Solebox.
