'Lacoste - 24 Teeth'

René Lacoste Croc /

To celebrate the innovation and heritage of René Lacoste a special collection of the original Lacoste tennis shoe was released. The shoe was remade to the original specifications with a herringbone material upper and a simple rubber vulcanised construction. Only 1963 pairs of this original shoe were made for this collection to anniversary the year the shoe was originally created

To celebrate the brands association with the crocodile 63 pairs of René Lacoste Crocs were created; these exclusive shoes had a crocodile skin feature panel across the upper and were only available through a handful of stores globally.

These two limited editions were accompanied by four additional models all designed to celebrate a different area of the world of tennis:

René Lacoste R was produced in a striking orange to represent the clay courts of Roland Garros.

René Lacoste B featured a yellow piping outline across the upper and sole to represent a tennis ball.

René Lacoste W celebrated the Wimbledon Championships with a bright green upper and sole with fresh white piping and laces.

René Lacoste T has tri-coloure eyelet to represent the French Flag and René Lacoste wins as part of the legendary Davis Cup “Musketeers” team.
