'Lacoste - 24 Teeth'

Edifice buyer Mr. Yamauchi describes the process of designing their René shoe: ‘I tried to unite the most basic of shoes, the René Lacoste, and Edifice, which has always been influenced by the French casual look. So we started thinking about Navy as the first colour in terms of giving the shoe a French feel. Then we moved on to white. The tow colours together conjure images of a resort or Riviera. The final design turned out to be a hybrid sneaker, featuring an espadrille foxing, and we are really pleased with the result.’
