Ever wondered if the sewer crocodile stories are real?

Lacoste has a long history with the Crocodile but how much do you really know about them?

We looked at Crocodile myths and legends all around the world and have incorporated our research into a very special collection of shoes celebrating our iconic logo.

The collection of 9 shoes were released over 3 months in April, May and June 2009 and showcased legends and myths from

• New York
• India
• Egypt
• Melanesia
• Japan
• West Africa
• Brazil
• South Africa

Each shoe was packaged in a special edition box and was accompanied by a booklet with information about the true story of the regional crocodile (If they ever existed) and the associated legend or myth.

We also used these legends as inspiration for some films which bring the stories to life.
